Planning your day in Paris
For a Paris trip, inspect the exact point near your route and check the pollutant behind the number. This page labels US AQI explicitly so it is not confused with the local French index or with a concentration in µg/m³.
Start with central Paris, your arrondissement, your route outside the centre. Choose the actual point on the map to compare it with the city-centre location used on this page.
What should you do when pollution rises?
Read the health advice for the index and country you are using. On poorer-air days, consider shortening or rescheduling strenuous outdoor activity. Children and people with heart or lung conditions may need extra care.

Sources and limits
This page shows readings from nearby monitoring stations of public and community networks, such as Sensor.Community, WAQI, OpenAQ, PurpleAir and Syngeos, and in Poland the official GIOŚ network. When no station is nearby, it shows a Copernicus model estimate. Measurements and model values are different kinds of information; a missing or old reading is not evidence of clean air.
